This little project was inspired by a wicked screenshot from "Ragnarok Online". It's a great rpg game where everyone gets to beat the crap out of monsters, and sometimes each other and still manage to look stunning. Anyway, this is a fine tribute to the stealthy assassin known as Royce Kincaide, for he's a jolly good fellow.....Well, I am not sure how jolly he is, but I know he's definitely a good fellow and a badass too.
This picture was painted using Painter 8 and Photoshop 7. I enjoy working with Painter because of the variety of tools and brushes it offers. They allow me to create all kinds of wonderful textures within the painting, making it more visually interesting and stuff...or maybe I am just full of shit. Photoshop...what can I say? I did my signature with it...and It only took me 3 tries to naill that perfect "JN".

I think I've wasted enough of your time, but that's ok! because I don't think a lot of people read this stuff anyway.

You put it up? You rock. Royce is happy with how badass you made him and how nicely you drew his pet. This is my wallpaper currently, as you intended (I think) and I have a feeling it will be for a long time. In fact, I think I should favourite this too. *does so*

And if you ever get on RO again, Royce has 8 dead branches for you to sell. Money for you!! =D

Very nice, and is that supposed to be a pencil up in the left corner area? If so... umm... why is there a pencil?

I'm impressed. You are the only one who has noticed the pencil, as far as I know. Anyway, it is a decision I've made upon finishing the picture. Sure! The image looked nice, but I wanted a little more from it. Something amusing and random. I wanted to see how far I could stretch this rubber band before letting go. So I stuck a pencil in the picture. It's part of my quirkiness and it helps sepereating me from any other Schmos who can paint...and often paint better than me.
